Here it is, the premiere edition of the Stevens High School literary magazine Midnight Fire ("red and black" in poetry--get it?) The poetry, short prose pieces, and artwork within are the loving work of the broad gamut of the Stevens community and are presented as submitted to us, without re-editing or censorship.  We trust the range of work represents the concerns and interests of this community, or at least the physical, mental, and imaginative states of the Individual artists and authors.  We wish to thank all those who contributed art, effort, or your 50 cents to support this venture.  We hope this issue marks the first of a long and constantly improving series of Midnight Fires.  We're already planning a winter edition.  Keep submitting original, error-free literature and artwork to Mr. Lajoie or student editors Jessica Gagne and Melissa Richmond.
