Well, so the field show
for 1998 is a Beatles Show. That's a really good show theme.
I remember UNH did one a few years back, they actually got clips from like
22 Beatles tunes in the entire show. It was neat.
This is the first SHS
field show in at least ten years that features a small ensemble rather
than a trumpet soloist. The quintet, comprised of John Fahey on alto
sax, Jeanne Ferland on sousaphone, Crystal Baker on clarinet, Rick Irish
on trombone and Kevin Knapp on trumpet, will be featured in "When I'm Sixty-Four."
Somebody told me that
if you march the Beatles show in reverse, the drill spells out "I buried
Paul." They should try it.
